Journey through landscape

Journey through landscape

The landscape is designed for riding bicycle .In the first step you face the main entrance
Near the main entrance, there is a place for renting bicycle. So you can start your journey from the main entrance. As our area is not too much big, I extend the paths that makes them experience all the space in order to receive the highest area. During the way after each main path there is bigger area that they can rest or even put their bicycle and continue their journey by walking.
After passing all the way, on  the top of topography there is a cafe provided a great view through the whole landscape. Therefore it can be a motivation for rider to receive the highest level of topography.

Here also the arrows shows apparently the way they should pass. It is evident they should experience all landscape in order to get the highest level.

space for cowling baby with an ever bouncing ball
This structure will provide an opportunity for both ball and the baby to experience all the spaces through moving all around the space. As we have a continuous path, the ball will move around the space. As a result there is motivation for the baby to go through the whole space. Further more we do not have spoiled space.

preliminary

All the design is made from a group that have two curves.
I use mesh between these curves two connect these curves. Also try to keep balance between different colors and textures.

I use this group 5 times. Every time i rotate this group and change the direction of it in whole design.Concerned what the exercise is asked, i try to relate all the voids and do not cut the flow of space.

Final

firstly, i made two groups. They name group A and group B.
This combination is group A. that consist of 4 elements.
2 brown elements
1 black element
1 mesh element
I keep balance in the colors.

This is group B that consists of 5 elements. This group have two curves. I make a contrast between curves. Not only between their colors but also their direction.
I put a mesh element between curves as a bonding. As it is obvious there is a clear flow of space between these curves. Thus they are in relation with each other.

I put these groups in a way to make rhythm.
A__B__A
 B__A__B
A__B__A
In the center of my design i made a hierarchy between the square elements in their place. As you follow the squares in each step they rise.

MidTerm-Final model

main group
(subgroup)
The main group consists of two subgroups which are connected with each other through a "L" shape element so they share their voids with each other to represent the concept of "Flow of Space"
. All elements in my model are all L shaped. Each group consists of 9 L shape cardboard elements, 4 Balsa L shape elements, and 2 mesh L shape elements.

MidTerm-3

To solve the previous problems ,I made groups that consists of  a rectangle (cardboard), 2squares 6*6 (cardboard),2square 3*3(Balsa) ,2squares 1.5*1.5(Mesh) ,2isosceles triangles 6cm(card board) , 2isosceles triangles 3cm(Balsa) ,2isosceles triangles 1.5cm(mesh) .In each group i try to show the "flow of space" through the hole that is made by triangles as a half part of a square that we can see the other half under the other one..But the problem was with the tiny elements that looks like ornament.

MidTerm Model-2

As the problem of my previous design was the connection between solid and voids , I try to make a model by using cubic forms that shows "flow of space", as instance if there was a ball inside them it could flow through the spaces freely from its starting point until the end. In each side of this 3-D model all square elements are showing themselves in balsa or mesh textures. The problem in this design was having enclosures in made spaces, solids and voids which made lack of relationship between them to make it looks like pipe.

Midterm Model-1

The main title of the design was solid void. I try to represent this issue by these squares that move through the model.I use these solid and voids in every side of my 3-D model. But the problem was the lack of appropriate connections between solids and voids.

Basic Design : Exercise5 Rhythm

Given:
11 square elements
9 rectangle elements
17 isosceles right triangles
The dimentions of these elements should be multiples of 4.5 cm

i made two different groups. The groups consist of rectangle and triangles and the other group includes squares in two different sizes. To represent the concept of rhythm, i decide to show a rhythm in elements of groups as they show move and some how they orbit.Trend of systematic change in size in groups(decrease , increase, decrease,...)is witnessed. Also the number of triangles follow a sequence (5,3,1)

Basic Design: Exercise3

given:
9 planar elements of 9*9
5 rectangle elements of 9*13.5
7 isosceles elements triangles with sides length 9cm

first, i make a group that includes one triangle and two squares or two rectangles, I tried to use this group in differnt dirctions ; horizontally, vertically, ... .

Basic Design:Exercise4

5 planar elements of 9*9cm
7 rectangle elements of 9*13.5cm
4 isosceles  right triangle with sides length 9cm
9 equilateral parallelograms with an 45* angle and a side of 9cm

As we were given parallelograms and triangles , I decided to change the direction of it and actually make angled system.I based the whole system on 45* and 135* and try to parallel the elements in these two angles.By the way i group the elements. my group consists of a parallelogram and a rectangle and a square. rectangle and square are paralle with each other and both of them are parallel with two sides of parallelogram.
